I recently took a semi-roadtrip to Arizona and New Mexico. I kinda cheated in that I flew out there, but I drove about 1,600 miles in six days, seeing random sites in both states.
Unfortunately for me, it rained most of my trip (in the desert! During a typically non-rainy season!). This phenomenon is commonly known as the “Pennace Family Curse.” Anyway…the unexpected rain resulted in some flooding. And lots and lots of muddy water.
