So I live in Stuyvesant Town on the east side of Manhattan. If I didn’t live here, I’d have no idea of all the places inside. I really gotta take advantage of living here more. Since I live on a building facing 14th Street, I rarely have reason to walk through Stuy Town.
I also need to get used to hauling around the tripod I just got off of Ebay (a Bogen Manfrotto 3021 Tripod with 3047 Head) so I recently started taking it around with me when I walk, to get accustomed to the weight. It’s pretty heavy for me, but probably doubles as a great defense weapon.
Everyone I know and their mother are moving to Stuy Town, it seems. I ran into a friend (or, more accurately, she ran into me) as I was taking the shot of the fountain. I usually ignore random people when they talk to me, so I’m glad I didn’t totally blow her off. I am really a nice person. I swear.
